Sweet, nutritionally dense Kimi figs develop their distinct characteristics from the soil and microclimate of Kimi, Greece. Sourced from the Lambrou family, who grow and harvest their fruits according to traditional, manual methods, developed in the area over centuries. Figs are torn in half, dried open in the sun, and then joined in pairs to form the “ascada” or “Kimi fig”, in their well-known figure of eight shape.
